We The Hypocritical

Wrong if you do, wrong if you don't....l find it amazing that will all the anger, strife, fear, danger and despair that already exists in this largely corrupt world, some people will purposely seek out the smallest of things to turn into the ugliest of situations. Point in fact, the "Bring Our Girls Back" posts are one of the ways being utilized to draw attention to the kidnapping of 200 plus Nigerian girls to bring them back home. Recently, our FLOTUS Michelle Obama tweeted a post which, for the most part, was received for what it was, a show of support. There were, of course, the usual, anti anything Obama supports is wrong. Even if they say water is wet it must not be true because it came from an Obama.
The comments that stood out for me in regards to this post were, "You have the resources to do more. You can go get those girls." and "They aren't our girls." Hmmm!  Let us discuss these resources shall we. Are these the same resources that were used to so quickly locate Osama Bin Laden? Oh wait! That took a good little minute didn't it? Maybe we should be using the resources we used in locating those so called weapons of mass destruction.  Oh, I forgot,  it was those resources that determined there were no weapons of mass destruction before we....Wait! What was that? Oh, that didn't happen. Okay! So, what resources are we speaking of then? I know. Let's call Chuck Norris, aka Walker Texas Ranger, Sylvester Stallone, aka Rambo, Arnold, Bruce Willis, and the remaining cast from The Expendables and send them in after the girls.  In all honesty, that is probably just as realistic a solution as some of you, I have nothing better to do with my life than to turn one of the saddest tragedies I can find and use it for the pettiest of  vendetas against someone who doesn't share my political beliefs can come up with.
Now, for the "They are not our girls comments,"  they are everyone's girls. We are all God's children. We are all born of this earth and we all deserve to live in a world without fear. Girls are being sold and that is only a part of the problem. How evil do you have to be to burn people alive? I won't rant or throw insults at anyone however. All I can do is feel pity because when you hold that much bitterness in your heart, you leave no room to experience all the joy that is out there. I know this is not some life changing post. Some people just choose to focus on the petty things. Some find it easier to just be bitter I guess. These are just my observations for today0.

I Will Not Apologize

People get upset when I say that they can't possibly understand what it is like to live with a chronic illness unless you share that illness. They don't always understand that reading about and researching it isn't the same as living it. People don't understand that Narcolepsy and Cataplexy are a part of me and and they dictate, not me, a lot of my responses. I can see how it might be hard to understand that I am not brushing off or ignoring situations because I don't respond the way I should. I get that it is hard to comprehend that my seemingly lack if emotion is a necessity for me to make it through. It is as automatic to me as breathing and it us NOT going to change. Narcolepsy is an awful illness but coupled with Cataplexy, it can be almost unbearable if you don't make some unnatural adjustments. I can't show you what it feels like. A More Humanistic View: Jada Pinkett ith

If you take the celebrity status out of the equation and view it from a more humanistic point, it really becomes less of a punchline. People see an actress trying to sell her book. I see a woman who possibly just wants to be understood. Everyone has made her out to be this bad person without really knowing the full dynamics of their relationship. I think a good portion of it might even be a result of trauma bonding. I know we are tired, but I think Bluecentric gives really good insight and makes some very valid points. I would hope most people bashing Jada would really listen and at least gain maybe just a bit more empathy. I might just be a little too idealistic though.
